The moment everyone was waiting for: the photo of Beyoncé’s twins. Beyoncé just shared the first photo of her babies with husband Jay-Z, Sir Carter and Rumi, on Instagram.
Along with the caption: “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.”, Beyoncé shared a photo of herself holding her two new-born children, a girl and a boy, evocative of Botticelli’s classical Venus rising out of the ocean. So, this means the twins were born on 13 June 2017, making them Geminis.
Gossips began spinning just about a month ago that Beyoncé had given birth to fraternal twins, a boy and a girl, on June 12. They just missed one day.
While we’ve all been involved in the disorder surrounding Jay-Z’s latest album 4:44‘s release, in which he references cheating on Beyoncé, the birth of their twins last month inadvertently run from our minds.
After Jay-z confrmed the birth, rumours of the birth and and names of the babies have been around. But gratefully, they’re all been put down by Beyonce herself, who confirmed her son and daughter were born in the middle of June, and named Sir Carter and Rumi.
Cheers to Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy, who have received some cute new members into the family.
