When we talk about places that inspired Pixar movies, we are referring to actual locations that were introduced in the movies by their creators. Pixar is known for its creativity and some of the scenarios of its films are extremely beautiful. What you probably did not know is that many of these places exist, or were inspired by real-life scenarios.
Places like the “Angel Falls” in Venezuela, evidently similar to the “UP” waterfalls and the port of Sydney in “Looking for Nemo”. The city of Paris in “Ratatouille” and the Universities of Harvard and MIT in “Monsters: The University” are other examples.
